Relaxing day in Nevada

Today we decided to head into Reno to look around. Ran some errands and got Iris a book to help her with the computer. Then off to dinner at the Silverado in Fernley. Got in some gambling too. I forgot that the casinos here are so smokey. Derek was up 70 and I was up 50 when we left. Gas is paid for for most of the rest of the trip. We will see if we do as well at the Nugget in a couple of days.

Iris took us to the new outlet mall area. Very nice. Here we are posing with the Nevada state fossil.


They had these great fish sculptures. I think Derek is trying to figure out how to make one at our house.


After we stopped off at the house to drop off the groceries we hopped into the van and headed for Fallon. Big Friday night on the town for us! Derek hates riding in the back so he watched the video Cats and Dogs that Diego left in there.

Iris bought us an amazing dinner. Derek and Iris had prime rib and I had steak and prawns. Yum Yum.

Got home and ready to hit the hay. Could not wait to get the smokey clothes off and in the wash. Iris has these little birds that sleep in her deck roof. So cute. So glad everyone is ready for bed.

Tomorrow nothing to do. :) We are not even going to get in a car! We are going fishing Sunday I think.
