Off to California

We woke up super early. I finished the packing while Derek made sure the car was all ready. I cooked pocket sandwiches and Derek took all the stuff out of the car. Then we repacked all fresh and ready. We are heading off to Lake Tahoe to have breakfast with Paul and his family. It was so much fun to spend time with them. Then down to Fairfield to check into our hotel. Looking forward to meeting Derek's friend Jim. They have not seen each other for about 15 years.


Got to get that last hug from Iris. We will miss hanging out at her house. Looking forward to Christmas in July!
